Headrick fabricators at work on a sign face

Our story

BUILT ON CRAFT. DRIVEN BY POSSIBILITY.

For nearly a century, Headrick Signs & Graphics has helped businesses, churches, schools, and communities show up with work that is built to last.

Our history

A LEGACY OF SIGNMAKING SINCE 1927.

From hand-painted signs to electronic message centers and large sculptural work, the through-line is the same: make the sign well, and stand behind the installation.

  1. 1927 — Hand-painted beginnings

Headrick Signs was founded as a hand-painted sign shop, built on craft, precision, and pride.

  2. Postwar — Expanding capabilities

As the years moved on, the shop took on new materials and methods and kept the focus on the finished sign.

  3. 1972 — Remote-control fuel price signs

Electronic price signs became part of the work, an early step into signs that could be updated in place.

  4. 1989 — Commission for the Cross

The company was commissioned to fabricate and install the Cross of the Memorial of the Americas, a project of national scale.

  5. Today — Signage and graphics that perform

Custom signs, dimensional work, digital messages, and graphics, still made to be built and installed, not only drawn.

THE WORK HAS NAMES BEHIND IT.

Built to push forward

INNOVATION IS PART OF THE WORK.

Price signs, digital message centers, and large dimensional pieces grew out of the same shop. New tools show up. The standard for the finished sign does not get softer.

The people who answer the phone are connected to the people who build the sign. That is the point of keeping the work under one roof.
